What IB means by "look ahead available funds"?

Does anyone know what "look ahead available funds" means?

Does that mean in a certain number of days there are supposed to be more "freed up" funds in the account?

My understanding is that "look ahead available funds" are the funds available for trading when the margin changes from overnight back. If you watch the account window from 9 o'clock until 930 you will see the look ahead becomes available funds for the current trading day.
