What I Like About Communism

I read the writing of Karl Marx, Leninism and the Russian revolution as part of the political science school curriculum in the Eighties. There were no Russian bots then! So do not be paranoid. The communism theory is a wonderful thing on paper but in reality, it is very hard to apply, because it goes against the natural grain of the human greed.

Nevertheless, Karl Marx said that capitalism would fall from within for two reasons: the first reason is that the gap between the rich and the poor will keep growing to the point where the poor cannot take it anymore and eventually will revolt. (At this time, this reason is somewhat neutralized by the spread of social services in the capitalist world, but it is still in play. They are trying to eliminate the 2nd amendment for this reason folks!!

The second reason he said is that, the capitalist countries will fight among themselves on the world market share and this will eventually cause them to go into wars among themselves and destroy capitalism. (You can see this unfolding today in front of your own eyes! It is called trade wars)

Wake up and smell the coffee!:sneaky:

You sure you wanted to quote me?

Coffee is great! And the quality of the food was on top level back then.Nowadays nobody gives a shit about anything.

too bad it`ll hapen after some global disaster only.no one would want to transit peacfully.

A long time ago, I read one of Nietzsche's essay's, cant recall in specific detail, but i believe he was referring to a Democratic belief system, and if allowed to encircle the Globe, it would erode society..

The old paper newspapers, radio and TV have been surpassed by facebook, twitter etc.
It has recently been shown how easily a corrupt regime can influence the masses with these new tools.

Hell, I'd say if you pay no net tax to the federal government in any year you can't vote in federal elections for that year. Gotta have SOME skin in the game, else its "GIVE ME MY FREE SHIT!!!!". But, I would see your point if you have to do some averaging so you wouldn't lose your vote right away if you lost your job or whatever.

What about people who come upon hard times and have no taxable income for a year or two? They live off of off their savings, which they have already paid taxes upon. You would deny them the right to vote? What if they live off of their savings for 10 years? 20? At what point to you declare them a felon by not paying taxes, thus denying them the right to vote?

No, it's worse. You would be soylent green.

That is too funny and apropos to respond to. And you KNOW how I would respond, with a video clip. Not this time, hehe. (I am getting better at controlling my video-response-linking urges! I deserve a cookie!)
