Not everyone gets to vote. imho An able person living off assistance for decades should forfeit their vote.

Hell, I'd say if you pay no net tax to the federal government in any year you can't vote in federal elections for that year. Gotta have SOME skin in the game, else its "GIVE ME MY FREE SHIT!!!!". But, I would see your point if you have to do some averaging so you wouldn't lose your vote right away if you lost your job or whatever.
You are thinking of a Communist dictatorship. Socialism is a democratic idea where everyone has a vote. OK not perfect but at least its not the few elite living in luxury at the top while the rest starve.
The extremes of Communism and Fascism are very similar and wholly unacceptable unless you are in that small elite.
Much better for all with muddling along with democracy.
What kind of communism is china? Seems like the most capitalistic place on the planet. In major western cities I've seen foreign high school kids drive lamborghinis and ferraris, dressed in $500 designer jeans and t-shirts. Push real estate prices in california, vancouver and toronto beyond the reach of locals.
Do you mean the few elite have to work hard to feed the rest? But why someone who feeds the rest can't live in luxury?
The Communists take what they want. The elite have the best available and the left over crumbs are just enough to keep a workforce and military alive.
Stalin was just in it for himself. Anyone he was annoyed with disappeared - murdered. He ruled by terror. Hardly what anyone but the chosen elite want for themselves unless they are mad. The NK people are so afraid they will say anything and pretend to believe anything.
Just like yourself, it started with a great idea but inevitably degraded to the rule of terror over time. Now Russia is back to capitalism. How many historical examples do people need to understand that socialism from the ground up does not work?

What I like about Communists (and I was born and grew up in USSR) is that at first opportunity they would execute all "useful western idiots" like that who started this subject and those supported them.
