What I Like About Communism

Capitalism or Communism 2 vile and cruel extremes that have both foundered. Only the capitalists are too stupid to know it yet.

There is no need to be cruel to have an efficient and laudable system. Why not ry being fair, decent, competent and honest - political dimwits !!

Communism is great if not consider two "minor" issues:

1) It's basically not any close to what it's name is and the reality is - elite lives like kings and the rest are bound to live low profile. No choice.

2) It doesn't work anyway economically, because communism model is a losing business model. And any state economy is basically a corporation, it either is profitable or it sinks.

Thanks for clarifying.

It doesn't prove anything. The emigration from Russia now is more staggering, and ones who entering are mostly the workers with no proper qualification from the near east.

that is around answer. when the soviet union existed why were people denied the right to leave the socialist paradise?

I was happy to live in the USSR until my 16.And i`m jellouse of my parents and grand parents who used to live in the USSR for a long time.I`ve never ever seen more happier people.I`ll never see such happy and spiritually strong people(even though there was no religion) again.

There wasnt such thing in their mind like 'no work'.It was similar to upper- heaven planets kind of life. There will never be this kind of environment as the communism was in the USSR on this Planet again.Ever!

Tooooooo bad!!!

Communism is a big labor camp and people are slaves of the state who are significantly underpaid.

Quote from oldtime:

If employment is the biggest issue, why don't we all just become communists? What do we have to lose? It can't be any worse than democracy.

One could try a month in North Korea, I heard it has full employment too...

I am no fan of Communism but if you people think you live in anything better you are kidding yourself.

Have you rich Mother F!@#^@ looked around the United States at regular people.

People who work for shit money

paying more than half their salary into renting (housing)

the rest of money onto food and necessities

leaving them ZERO savings

Waiting for an accident or medical emergency to become Homeless.

YOU ALREADY LIVE IN COMMUNISM for the rich, extreme hardcore capitalism for the poor.

Wake Up America.

There are some truth to this post. It is not easy for being middle class nowadays, with responsibility for elders and youngers. Lot of them max'd out their credit card, they are living on a very thin margin of what they can bring home now. An accident or a medical problem could throw them homeless.

This discussion about communism vs. capitalism reminded me the argument, what is better: CD or trading/investing (i. e. small but guaranteed income vs. uncertainty with chance for both losing or winning). :D

Sad, but true. Central Planning is the hallmark of Communism, and the Federal Reserve is the Central Planner of the US economy.

And just like a household - whomever controls the purse-strings, rules the house.

Inflation is an invisible tax, so the gov't taxes you directly, and the Fed (regressive-tax) taxes you indirectly.
