What has (any gender) accomplished?

In fact, something that can not be automated has an edge that can probably be retained for longer.

rare statement very true. so there is automation we agree, i was vaguely mentioning that humans are not good at discoveries. computers are vastly better edge finders and implementers of strategies than humans as well. m

Sorry, do you mean to imply that you have a tool of some sort that can discover new sources of alpha and implement a strategy to extract them?

Recently on Facebook there was a big discussion about the Mayweather vs McGregor fight. Someone stated that blacks naturally are better than whites on all levels not just sports. I thought that was a brash bold statement and now without race being even mentioned at all, I have a question.

How many creatures of any color, race, creed, religion, background, gender choice, upbringing have successfully accomplished autonomous trading algorithms that will endure the ages in absence of it's creator?
IMO, the best edge you will find in trading is being single, sober and an introvert.
Everyone else will suffer from distractions, their minds captive to having too many irons in the fire, partners, social events, impositions placed by others to "get off your bum and do the dishes and walk the dog" commands.

I was fortunate with my trading, after my 1st marriage fell apart I was single for about 24 years before remarrying.
I recall one girlfriend, I told her that one weekend I didnt wish to see her as I was working on formula writing. She didnt believe me and accused me of philandering. The resulting argument terminated that friendship virtually on the spot, my choice. :)

As far as I'm concerned, faith, color of skin and other things don't influence a person's strength or mind. It's just the package that nature rewarded you with, plus working on yourself.

Many, trend following has worked for ever and will continue to work for ever. Read the paper "300 years of Trend Following" by CFM partners

The definition of "it works" is always up for discussion though. Not sure what's the connection with boxing.
It all works until it doesn't ...
