German authorities are applying heavy-handed tactics to find housing for the hundreds of thousands of migrants and refugees pouring into the country from Africa, Asia and the Middle East.



With existing shelters filled to capacity, federal, state and local authorities are now using legally and morally dubious measures — including the expropriation of private property and the eviction of German citizens from their homes — to make room for the newcomers.
 
That's why my idea for gun control is so good. It allows gun ownership at home. So that the govt forces can be held at bay. Swat team? Apache helicopters? Drones? They mean nothing if one has an AR 16 rifle.

If only those poor people had guns.

Hitler made people register their valuables, guns included, under penalty of long prison sentences. Then he took their guns. Once they were disarmed he came back for the rest of their valuables and killed them. Hitler didn't really have a complicated scheme. He was good at pulling it off right under everybody's nose. Hitler was doing what all psychopaths do but on a grand scale. Germans went for it for some reason...
 
Don't think people here wouldn't go for it too. It's already the policy of the democrat party, eg register guns, ban certain guns, economic justice. If it's unfair that the rich have more, as Dear Leader Obama teaches us,why shouldn't the people use self help to even up things? We saw in Baltimore what happens when mob violence meets private property. The government abandoned private property owners and instructed the police to basically protect the looters.

Actually the model followed on most countries that fall into dictatorships is for the government to remove the guns from the people.

This allows the thugs supporting the regime using bats and knives to abuse the targeted defenseless people in their homes. The military does not carry out the intimidation, it is government supported street thugs. This is a pattern repeated over and over in history - Stalin, Iran, Nazi Germany, etc.

The only defense is for decent citizens to keep their guns.
 
Keep your guns, learn to make them if necessary. I knew a gunsmith and saw his shop. You need a lathe, a mill and some hand tools afaik. Move away from all the inner city thugs that the Democrats have greenlighted to kill you and destroy your property. It's not complicated. Vote if you want to but it never seems to change things. I voted for Republicans because they were for limited government but the public sector has grown continually until it's hogging the resources needed to grow an economy. It's at it's natural limit but that won't stop Democrats from doing what they do: Tax and Spend. It's only getting worse from this point on... We have the same leadership of every third world country and we're importing poverty and criminals from the third world so what's that make us if not third worldish? That never gets better.

This kind of summarizes why people are drawn to Trump. He is seemingly the only candidate who grasps this fully. Carson gets it somewhat and is beginning to find his voice.
