Obama was on the senate fp committee for several years and had a cadre of 300 advisors all skilled in policy that he met with either in person or by phone almost daily.

Palin otoh had a nice view of Russia and probably was not even aware of the treaty ceding some of Alaska's islands to Russia (I;m not sure of this one).

I'll grant you Charlie tossed up some slowballs for O. but Palin after having weeks to prepare could only come up with banal answers and even had us at war with Iran.

It is blatantly obvious that Palin was not ready for primetime. The way they used her in the campaign was idiotic. They tried to make her out like she was an everyday person. That doesn't work because I don't want someone who is like me as the VP, I want the VP to seem a lot smarter than me. I think a think a lot of people feel that way. It seems like people made it Obama Vs Palin, when it was Obama Vs McCain. Enough about Palin though.

The thing is that Obama recieved softball after softball from the media. They were derelict in their duty of reporting in an unbiased way. One of the key components of a free society is a sceptical media which we don't have at this point and time. Can the average Obama kool-aid drinker at least admit that media coverage of Obama is one great big love fest?

I don't bother listening to him. Never saw a point in listening to someone who you know is lying. In his case you can tell because his lips are moving.

My daughter is getting an advanced degree and she gets her political info from comics on television !!

The wealthy in the US are in Wall Street type businesses and Obama's Admin is the most Wall Street centric one EVER... so the poor and the rich were voting for entitlements, not a better country for the next generation...

No, he is an actor. The morons are the ones who listen to every word and actually believe what he says, even though it is pre-written propaganda. Obama performs very well, he is great at his job, which is talking & charming the sheep.
