I had eaten a serving of oatmeal every single morning for years. Quite suddenly, last fall, oatmeal starting giving me the shits, and I mean serious, where's a f'n toilet right now kind of shits. I stopped eating if for several weeks, ate it again, same result. About a month ago I decided to try again, and cooked it a little longer. No real problems since.
May not apply to your situation but that type of thing happens to many people who suddenly dump sugar and switch over to some of the artificial sweeteners. Happened to me and I could not figure out what the hell was going on. Started going seagull at times. I deconstructed the problem and a bit and did some research on the net, and sure nuff. Tis a well known problem. Wham. Stop using that shiite, and the problem is fini instantly.
