What happens to the options when and ETF shuts down??

My China ETF is closing...HAO. Consolidation of companies...I would do covered calls on this stock. I stopped when I heard the news. What happens to the options when an ETF closes and distributes??

My guess... in the money, you get paid cash settlement value at last trade price, at or out of money, POOF. But no idea really, excellent question!

expiration of option will be accelerated to first month after event (so march 2020) and cash settlement based on the distribution on the 26th....
