what happens if you're holding an OTC stock when it moves to another exchange?

Should be nothing.

You either hold the certificates or are the owner of record for stocks held in street name. If the issue moves to a different exchange should have no consequence to your ownership.
 
I don’t think anything would happen. When it moves to another exchange, it won’t harm your ownership and you can keep moving ahead as you would have otherwise.
