What happened to that Democratic turnout machine?

For today's comedy now on TV.... "the Leaders of the North Carolina chapter of the NAACP discuss the results of the midterm elections on Nov. 6, 2014."

Endless crying and whining over how bad white Republicans are...... which part of "you lost" does the NAACP not understand. They plan to sue in court over the election results..... what a circus.

Rev. Barber is whining on and on about the "strictest voter suppression law" passed in the U.S.; he is endlessly talking about voter suppression efforts. Claiming the margin of victory is less than the suppression.... on and on and on.

Barber never addresses that the measures that are currently in place for the 2014 election do not include picture voter id in our state... and that any of the other measures put in place for 2014 simply makes North Carolina aligned with the majority of other states in regards to voting.

Yet.... he whines on and on and on.
 
I am in favor of voter verfication laws which are similar to the verification a chain super market does to show you are old enough to purchase alcohol. I have no desire to suppress the vote of those who have a right to vote but I do wish to stop the 20 to 30 million non americans from voting.

Note... when you make it harder for non citizens to vote and young people still live in the moms basement and got screwed by obamacare...

There is a good chance that democrats will lose.
People don't stay young a dumb or idealistic and naive forever.

This is exactly the trend I am seeing in young voters in North Carolina. In high school many were idealists, recently now that they are in college and having to working.... I am seeing many showing up as registered Republicans.... a good number hold views to the right of myself. A few worked for the Tillis campaign this year.

When was young I once wished my student loans would go away.... either by govt decree or using the courts.
A friend of mine just said stop wasting time and mental energy... find a way to make more money... pay them off, feel good and move on with clarity.

One of those great pieces of advice that was given at just the right time. Eventually many young people realize the govt is not your friend because many people in it are selfish, self serving people who will screw you for a buck.
 
What happened is that the nation is infested with morons. See GWB who thinks it was because "voter fraud" that was the reason the knowledge deniers were elected.

and you wonder who the hell gave these govt bastards the right to dip in my pocket after I gave 40 hours of my life to earn this last week.

Then when you realize that a private bank creates US currency at will and no one tracks it and they create inflation destroying the value you of your work....
and now they force to you pay for obamacare?

well lets just say we saw some of it on nov 4.

I know the demographics don't look that great for fiscal conservatives... but I think the internet has put an end to the peoples ignorance about inflation and money creation.
I have heard a lot of people who bring that subject up when someone speaks about the price of food.

Ironically inflation may put an end to the Fed's money printing franchise over the next generation... if they don't cut the inflation and manage a soft landing very soon.

I suspect they will tighten things up if an R wins the presidency unless they tighten now but somehow get Hillary elected anyway.
