The home page:

only lists the n threads with new posts (where n is about 20, I'd guess). So if you have a thread that has not gotten any posts recently, then it scrolls off the list.

Your previous thread was moved to the Stocks Forum by a different moderator, likely because he thought it was better suited to that forum.
