Well, in THAT case, the odds may be tipping sooner rather than later (grin). I think the next low will tradable on my timeframe, especially if it comes with a spike down on "bad news".

If you think you can "see" October maybe you should be reading palms instead of trading...you can still make money if you're wrong.

We've only had a 38% retracement off the lows. Not exactly a reason to be wildly bullish.

true; local media my way had a local investment officer...basically saying to hold and "not panic."

If this continues downward, I wonder what he'd say next?

It was just a single day rally. Not much to get excited about even for a long like myself. The market didn't even recover half of fridays loss.
