Why are you guys trading SQQQ and TQQQ instead of NQ/MNQ futures ?
What's the advantage ?
Lower Commission/Fees ?
Better liquidity / better fills ?
I'm going to guess because ETFs do not expire, but straight futures do?

Futures to fast for me, I stay away , for now.
And yeah ETFs no commission, Futures have commission,
.
There is no free lunch when it comes to trading. "It's in there".

Well this was a stupid day. That loss 524.
The first trade, the bigger one was done about an hour and a half after I had gotten out of general anesthesia. Dumbest thing a person could do, in fact before I went in I told myself no trading today. I got out thinking it’s not going my way and if anything there was a short bias today I shouldn’t be in TQQQ.
Then I did the second trade, the smaller one. But realized, no reason to do this I shouldn’t be trading today, if anything this was a revenge trade, and so I sold while I had a minimal gain.
lesson learned. Think before you act, have a good reason to take a trade, and stop making decisions based on what you WANT to happen.
Very disappointed in myself, I felt like I was starting to “get it”. But I knew deep down this was inevitable.
Oh well, at least I didn’t let it turn into a disaster . Just got chopped up little.
I should probably be doing these posts in the trading journal I set up in the journal section which is what I’ll do going forward I won’t post any more of the stuff in this section sorry guys

Thanks. Yeah I realize that the reason that one trade was so much bigger is because of the account I did the trade and it’s in a bigger account versus the second account which I did a small trade-in that is just a small account that I set up for trading onlygood stuff...as long as you learn from this and keep on journaling everyday. and make sure not to repeat the same mistake over and over again. you can grow as a trader from here. the problem i see is you taking too big of a size. from 200 to 2000. your trade size were around the 100 - 200. today you went 10x on your first trade. make sure you comfortable trading that size for a few week or months before you scale up. i'm still not have scale my trade up yet after 75 days of using this strategy.
also don't do any big trading if you have any distraction like me when user bothering me yesterday while i'm trying to trade. put on a trade and attending a meeting at the same time. or doing door dash and trading. those don't mix well. day trading is addictive. set your own hours and don't let the market dictate you.
