What happened at 11:59 today?

Maybe there is somebody somewhere who wanted to cause a new alltime high? He's probably printing out the chart in 24 x36 with primary colors, and putting it on his office wall...

Both sides getting a lot of "bang" out of jawboning trade. (Might have been their ploy all along... suck players into jumping at every crumb of news... real or false... ultimately spurring the markets higher. (?)

Waiting for China to say "wait we didn't say that" again.

I think the most fun part of the modern market is how no price action ever makes sense anymore. It's just robots trading with robots. Ban algo trading.
 
it did it again but to the short side this time. Both the low and high of the day were formed by these two spikes. I wonder if we need a "true low" and "true high" technical term?

Exactly that's why price action has to be completely eliminated.....gone are the days when a market was real and traded the way it was supposed to trade. Now a days everything is just written algorithms trading every dot and period in a sentence spewed out over social media.

pse be clear about the time zone.

nothing abnormal about price going up at 89 degree.
It happens occassionally due to major news/event/powerful tweet .....

In fact, ES YM RTY NQ dax, hangseng , copper, crude oil went up significantly,
and gold, bonds went down at exactly the same time.
How the big boys / traders / investors managed to get the news about US / China Tarriff rollback thing sooo fast and from where? no idea.
