You know, I think this might relate to Treefrog's Hillary obsession.

If guys in the US saw the genesis of Fox... Rupert Murdock was basically a literal porn dealer (newspapers full of nudity and other sex stories) when he was most invested in blue-collar newspapers like the Sun and News of the World. One of the worlds oldest papers which had to close due to embarrassment after journalistic malpractice supported by Rupert, they would look at Fox under a different light. It has a rotten basement.
The man brought the lowest of human nature mainstream. Fox is just an evolution of that and attempts to compete with it's opiate for the masses journalism dropped the bar an order of magnitude across the industry.
I worked in UK publishing for a few years, what was clear was the the intelligence, best in class basis of the Newscorp journalists was very high. It tales a very smart person to produce a consistent product for the lower social classes. A backwards compliment however not good for society.
