What ever happened to ElectricSavant?

True, he could have moved. However, hidethereal still could not be ElectricSavant. Both the style (English language usage patterns) and the content (trading stocks and metals, etc.) of htr's posts are far too different from ES's. The "Michael B." signature is clearly a red herring... what's the point in changing your handle, but continuing to sign your well-known real name / initial at times? :)
 
He's rather old & overweight- A high risk factor for serious illness. I'm afraid severe health problems are likely to be the cause of his disappearance.
