What euro stoxx 50 etf has the highest option volume? Thanks. And preferably the lowest spreads.

Yeah there's no liquidity in OTM options on FEZ. I noticed most of the time FEZ = DIA + FXE (EURUSD). FEZ is heavily in old stodgy companies which is similar to the Dow 30. The exceptions being the Luxury brands like LVMH & L'Oreal.

You could try EFA (non-US,CAD developed markets). Seems similar to Eurostoxx but with more Pharma stocks.

Or go with German DAX

In terms of what the OP was looking for FEZ has more liquid options than the DAX equivalent of EWG. Of course if you want to go short DAX seems better since it has performed poorly vs. the Eurostoxx 50, assuming the Nat Gas situation gets worse for Germany.

FESX options all the way @Chuck Krug
Everything else is just a waste of money. Same forward rates, same term structure and same vol applies for the ETF so don't be a moron and trade the most liquid chain for EU equities.

Mup> I'm looking at the ESTX 50 (OEX) AUG 19 22 2500 PUT @DTB
I see a closing close of bid 2.6 ask 2.8
is the spread 20 cents all day?
