You definately need to watch the products, mostly just the RBOB unless were getting close to or are in winter.
It seems that in trading there is a desire for certainty ... as opposed to acceptance that each trade is a probabilistic event.
Volume, bid/ask volume, internals, another index. Or just trade?

Report is out. Even if you were not interested in the numbers you may want to stand aside for the wild 5 minutes or so that usually follow.
Also seasonals are important in Energy like in any commodity market.

Just thought I would mention the oil report is 10:30AM EST.
Also natural gas report is Thursday at 10:30 AM EST.
