What does everyone think about apple?

Quote from akmusic:

Currently I'm holding 650 shares of apple that I got last year at 166. I read an article on msnbc that one analyst thinks it's headed to 125. I bought apple as a longterm investment because I know some inside stuff in regards to upcoming products which are amazing. They have a lot of great news coming out this week, and I think that the Nokia suit was just a ploy to raise the stock for a short time. They tried the suit last year and failed, it's not going to work this time either. Just curious what you guys think, should i sell monday and then buy again if it goes lower....is it going lower?

I read that same article. He was featured on CNBC

They brought him in for the "devils advocate" position. Although it could very well go to 125, the fact is, this is one article against a thousand that say the opposite. That one person made news because he's a respected analyst and is the only one who is saying it'll go that low.

Again, this is all speculation, so that person may be right, and everyone else could be wrong. That being said, a large, large majority of people--including those who look at apple's intimate paperwork daily-- say apple is poised to hit 300. I feel that the only reason they wouldn't is if there is a general market slump by then. In that case, if Apple hits 125, you should be more worried with the DOW being at 8,000

If selling today was in your plan, then I'd say it was a smart move and great trade.

Nice going, don't spend it all in one place, :D

Agreed. Even if it shoots to 300 tomorrow, never regret making a profit.
