what does a real long thin line after a bar mean?

You see a regular red or green bar but then a long thin line extending below.

sometimes you have small squarish bars with two thin lines one on the top and one on the bottom.

What type of chart?

it is the candlestick chart from etrade pro. I have it set to 1 minute period.

I also noticed that later , GE is trading at the price where the long thin bar touched .

At 1:15 the thin bar touched 13.25 traded 13.36

then 1:23 it actually traded at that price of 13.25
