OP, I don't know what your trade entry conditions are, but I do know from my own personal experience that grabbing a small win or swallowing a small loss and moving on to the next trade has been my most consistently profitable approach. Good luck.

I would never begrudge any methodology that can consistently yield profits over the long haul. If there are 1K profitable independent and self-made traders, you can rest assured that there are 1K different strategies being deployed with a wide degree of variation in terms of style and risk tolerance.
Even my own clients, over time, add their own nuances to what I teach. Never argue with a positive P&L as long as you can replicate your methodology and it survives different market cycles.

Guys OP has the spark of a brilliant genius in that he has ignored measuring and analyzing the important metrics that others can't imagine *not* using. While simultaneously SOLVING THE PROBLEM of trading for a living.
Please don't try to censor him by suggesting he's gone. Because you are butt hurt because you have judiciously studied all the well known metrics and are jealous of those creative enough to think for themselves.
While it's true I've made an assumption about your motive, in that you might just be trying to help by telling others to move along, ....but if that were true then why not also correct the simple math error and say btw, that $50 requires multiplying the results by 3 for 3 trades per day to get $150 per day (before costs).

Shots Fired is an immeasurably wonderful gift to Elite Trader. There are no limits on his potential success thus no limits on what he might share with us. Don't try to dispute that without the facts to support it in your 1st try because I won't see a 2nd try. Nothing personal, but I won't. There are way more resources available to me to study and become successful in my personal efforts to find a way to trade for a living .....than to worry I might miss some valuable nuance any one specific user might be able to contribute to my development. Filtering the amount of data I have to sift thru is critically important to me attaining my goals.
Again, sorry if I have offended you or anyone else as that is not my intent. But I will STAND in admiration of Shots Fired as it is an honor to support him for speaking up and telling us straight up, he doesn't use all that commonly known stuff.

Are you still trading ES for 2 ticks ?
Most likely for @shotsfired, shots were fired at self.
Last activity was just over a year ago, so we can assume he/she/it is still alive.
