what do you do while waiting for a pefecrt setup?

My big problem is patience. I think I know what to look for but I always find myself trying to scalp while im waiting and I always seem to get burned when it breaks out and its against me.

What do pros do while they wait/lol
 
Write down your market observations, thoughts, paper trade etc. I know its not easy but try and keep yourself productive while waiting for your "edge" to appear.
 
Pumping iron. You can do it while watching the market, your hands are busy so there is a smaller chance of overtrading. It also makes you tired and if the market goes against you, there a way to vent the anger an frustration. :D :D :D :D
 
That's one of the problems when you only have one strategy. Why let your time and money lie dormant and be unproductive? You'll have a smoother equity curve and make more money if you can employ several non-correlated strategies at the same time. If you only have one strategy, then working on another one in your spare time would be the first step.
