I say I do computer shit over the internet.

If they push the issue, derivatives trader. Most everyone is clueless about that, and discussion ends.

I tell people I have a niche business on the internet, they think it's porn or their eyes glaze. If they ask anymore, I tell them a buddy pointed me in a specialized direction for some stuff. By then they are really bored.
 
I tell them I deal crack cocaine to school kids. It explains the nice house and car and why I don't go to work in the morning like everybody else.

I'm sure they would hate me even more if they knew the truth. . .
 
I have a small business that allows me to trade full time so nobody but my family knows I am a trader. When I tell people I trade stocks they usually believe that it is only temporary and I will eventually get killed.
 
I see the world as both my office and playground. Four walls and a roof is to confine me.... so....

Also I don't believe in job descriptions as self descriptions. They should be both be kept separate and not as some balance.

A Lone Speculator I would call myself. Yet when folks ask me what I do for a living, I tell them I am a part of Danny's crew.
