What do traders use to trade quickly(scalp)?

The experience of using the specific strategy for trading would help you to trade faster. Scalping seems to be very easy in stagnant markets but in fact it can get frustrating during the whole trading day.

I have scalped using multiple brokers during all my trading days. It is not like you have to be quick like lightning but still you have to be very active. I used to club two strategies together.
 
Use ONE CLICK function.
Just click BUY AT MARKET or SELL AT MARKET button.


If you need to click more than 1 time,
and if you need to look at the price on the DOM ladder,
you will miss the opportunity.

What can help even more is scripting your own EAs. Python is a great tool for that.

Please tell the less informed of us how Python can be used to interface with a trading software such as MultiCharts.NET64. I.e., this is a how do the two programs "shake hands" question?
 
Take a look at ThinkorSwim.. they have an "Active Trader Ladder" that makes it very easy to place orders at different price levels. You can order it so the ladder shows prices in increments of 1c up to 5c, 25c, 50c, 1.00, etc.. I would never use a platform that didn't have a trading ladder for daytrading.
