we should raise taxes on the wealthy. That's self evident isn't it. Or would you rather the poor pay your bills when they buy bread. (Luckily you have me on ignore, so I won't have to endure a response.)
Your tax plan is like most liberals: raise taxes on everyone making more than you do. Envy is not really a great economic plan, although it does suffice as a political scam.
The bottom 50% already pay essentially no taxes. How much more should the rest of us have to pay to support all the illegals Obama has let in?
The tax plan proposed by Sanders was well thought out. That would be fine with me. I'm in the upper decile, but nowadays it does not take much income to get there. People working full time should not be paid so little that they require food stamps and other public assistance just to get by. That amounts to you and me subsidizing private employers' payrolls with our tax dollars. in a capitalist economy, that's wrong .

That is what really annoys me about federal taxes. The definition of middle class or upper class should be relative to where someone lives.
A family of 4 making $200,000 in Dallas, St. Louis or any small town in the middle of the country is doing pretty well. That puts the family in middle to upper middle class.
A family of 4 making $200,000 in San Francisco, LA or New York is struggling to make ends meet. A family in those areas is barely in the lower middle class. They wouldn't even be able to afford a mortgage payment in many areas in San Francisco.
