It's easy to understand why the global elites support that, as they are the enemy of freedom... but why would voters? These issues alone should have her 50 points down in the polls.

"Higher Taxes" = more and bigger government, less disposable income, less freedom, less jobs

"Open Borders" = more parasites/moochers on our welfare system, more competition for jobs, more crime from Hispanics, more muslim atrocities... murder, rapes of our wives and daughters, bombings... even shitting on your front porch. Paris was once the pearl of Europe. Have they seen the shithole Paris has become from muslim immigration?

I saw a video clip of her saying she wants "higher taxes"... didn't say anything about "just on the wealthy". And why would it be OK to raise taxes on the wealthy? It's OK with you if some American gets screwed so long as it's not you? Odumbo said he wanted to "raise taxes on the wealthy" and ended up raising taxes on most of us. Personally, I'm for "less taxes, smaller government". I don't want to see anyone's taxes raised even if it's not mine. The government takes too much already.

Most people want a balanced system, a basic social welfare net (which must be financed) coupled with an incentive to work hard and be presented with opportunities. This necessarily means someone has to foot the bill and in most societies it is implicitly understood and agreed that the wealthy pay a larger share than the poor because the wealthy can much more easily afford to do so. You do not have to agree or disagree regarding your personal opinion, because my or your or Achilles28's personal preferences in this matter mean nothing.
