Rand made the most damning point. How could she not know what was going on in a hot bed like Libya? She should have been briefed daily. If she truly was unaware of what was happening prior to the attack, then she should have been relieved for gross incompetence.
I suspect she did know, and so did Obama. The facts on the ground just didn't fit the narrative that they were trying to sell, which was al qaeda was on it's heels and all but done for. A purely pre-election political decision. Consequently they sat back and did nothing. People died as a result.

She said she was unaware of all the events prior to the attack. All the warnings and requests for more security. All of that being handled by underlings. Rands comment was that ignorance,(willful ignorance IMO), of the facts unacceptable and grossly incompetent given the circumstances in a place like Libya. I agree with that assessment.

That is not how I took the exchange. You are taking Rands statements and conclusions and suppositions as fact, from what Hillary said her statements were reasonable and made sense. Rand was grandstanding, why? And this isn't bias on my part the dems were kissing Hillary's ass, it was disgusting. And when the situation is reversed the dems are just as guilty of exaggerating and grandstanding and the reps of kissing ass. The hearing process is a circus.

I said months ago nothing would come of this. Hillary takes the heat for an administration coverup. Whether she was part and parcel, we will never know.
