I wouldn't say it's useless, but republicans are so wimpy and easily intimidated, they get no where with these types of hearings.
We still know next to nothing about what happened that night, including the biggest question, why the ambassador was there with no security detail.
We have established that Rice lied about it, and that cost her the Secretary fo State position. Likely, she was set up by Obama and his inner circle. If she were a republican, she would out with a book attacking Obama and Clinton and it would be featured on every network talk show. Since the hard left sticks together, that won't happen. She will get some cushy, high paying job at a university or think tank and wait her turn again.
We have 4 dead Americans including an ambassador. We have zero answers on why they were not given the protection they needed. We have zero answers why Obama and his cronies went out an lied about it. No one in the administration has lost their job. There is zero accountability.
BTW, not one single person who participated in this attack has been brought to justice. That certainly sends one hell of a message to anyone else who may be considering future attacks.
