What did the President of University of Missouri Actually do?

This incident should frighten even the leftwing university set. Basically a handful of black whiners, joined by a group of thugs on football scholarships, got the two top administrators fired. Those administrators had done nothing but grab their ankles and bend over for the complainers.

It's one thing to allow this kind of disgraceful display at a private institution, although considering how deeply government is involved in education, it's hard to call any school private. But Missouri is a state institution, supported by taxpayers. Of course, several dirtbag pols, eg Sen. Claire Mccaskill, joined the lynch mob. I wonder if she would resign her seat if a handful of demonstrators demanded it? Would it make a difference if the a bunch of blacks on football scholarships joined in?

Divide and conquer. Both sides of the mainstream promote their own flavors of division. Left now promoting division based on every manner of sex, gender, race, and income strata conceivable and imagined. Pronouns are also under attack and those that use them. It's all intended to divide and conquer. Get us at each others throats fighting about nonsense so we can't unite against the true mechanisms of control, and therefore remain inconsequential in the political dialogue. Which is what They want.

Education Professor: Whiteness is a “Disease”

by Aurelius - 43 Comments

In a scholarly article published in Teaching Education, Professor Cheryl Matias calls whiteness “a disease,” while suggesting new ways to teach urban students about “racism and whiteness.”

Dr. Matias is an assistant Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver

. Her article, Why do you make me hate myself?: Re-Teaching Whiteness, Abuse, and Love in Urban Teacher Education

, was published in Teaching Education this year.

In her article, Matias writes that teachers must address “normalized, oppressive Whiteness,” saying that a “colorblind” society cannot truly exist in the United States. “Despite silently acknowledging that race plays a role in” achievement gaps, writes Matias, “the study of race, racism, and exertions of Whiteness are rarely recognized as a substantive issue in teacher education and the teaching profession.”

Racism and whiteness are diseases that need to be addressed......

This is just the beginning of this kind of thing. We will be seeing a lot more of this over the next year.

We are seeing this spread across to different universities. The Wildchild nails another one.

BTW, back in 2008 the left was saying we needed to elect Obama because he would usher in 'Post-racial America'. How is that working out?

It's working out just the way they wanted. Blacks now can get their way by rioting or looting, or, if facing weaker opposition, by staging hunger strikes or holding their breath. The idea that this is not a good way to run institutions or make policy seems not to have occurred to admiring journalists.
