They haven't even begun to know enough about the entire situation to claim this bill will do what they hope. When have rush jobs out of congress ever worked? They need to fix the economy, not the market. The market will take care of itself, if they let it. This was a good first step. 90 something dems didn't like the bill either.
Personally, I don't think the dems considered it important enough to leave their partisanship at the doorstep.
