What cell phone do you have?

Basic phone (no camera, web, porno viewer, etc)

Its good for a basic phone and I got it during a $100 rebate (Free phone)
 
Motorola T120.

I use it because it is web enabled and I can trade from it thru Interactive Brokers WAP access.

Phone was $250 - $100 rebate. Now they are $150 with $100 rebate. I have AT&T wireless with 4MB of data per month. After all the taxes, $64/M.

Motorola V60....no frills (no web, no pictures, none of that)....but as a TELEPHONE, it's probably about as good as it gets.

I had the Nokia 8600 series phone, which was also great. But it went bad on me, and they don't make 'em any more. The replacement for it is bigger, and I like a small phone to keep in my front pants pocket. (I like the vibrating:))

But I am thinking of going totally wireless....getting rid of my home phone altogether (now that I use a cable modem and no longer DSL) and going on an unlimited plan. Which requires a different type of phone.....

I really think the service provider that has a plan to suit your specific needs is what you need to be concerned with more than the actual phone.

Some areas are better suited to different carriers too. I have Cingular, which I can use anywhere around where I live. My wife has AT&T and cannot use her phone in our house. (She stays with them, because she has had the same phone number for 10 years or so, and whatever else makes sense to her.....but she also has the V60...)
