%%Candles are the light through darkness.
Do you prefer to trade based on the moon ?

%%The fish are drawn to them. That alone makes them notable. It’s always good to know what the fish are drawn to. A corollary is, don’t be a fish.

Fish, as in naive, gullible, inexperienced.%%
I agree with most of that
EXcept ''dont be a fish'' implies ;
fish is not worth much\ or fish is not brain food/ this last sentence = very much false.
Sure a daily candle can be a like 5 minute chart= mosTLY noise, maybe your point??.
But size wise /I like salmon\sardines\ coldwater Canadian fish= polar bear food \
+ bull elk / bull elephants.
Whale is not really a fish, its biggest bear food.
Biggest bear recorded is brown bear;
polar bear , my favorite has bit smaller weight record.
As to record bear length \ that"$ a different subject![]()

Pretty much everyone has a chart with colorful candlesticks. Everyone can learn on Investopedia what an outside day is. One of the posters who keeps stats gave a frequency of its occurrence in the stock indices at around 10%, which is not that infrequent, and is what you would expect if you map out all the possible 2-day cases.
When an outside day occurs, everyone sees it. What is the significance of that?
Trading futures is a minority game. Look that up if you aren’t familiar with the term.
As for the food version, I stopped eating fish years ago. I don’t eat farmed fish and the waters are too polluted to safely eat large fish. I hardly miss it.

[EDIT; that's the cleaner tuna, strangely the more expensive tuna tends to be more polluted]
