What can I buy that won't go down?

Yea, good point. Which makes me think of gold, similar concept. But every time I've ever tried to buy gold and gold funds/etfs and what not I've lost my ass.
I'm actually thinking about starting to collect guns. 9mm types. I should probably make a thread in the off topic or whatever it is called about guns and which ones are collectors items and might hold/go up in value, etc. Although I would guess not many on this forum have knowledge in that area.

with guns and ammo you can take anything you want.. including gold.
Remember to keep the safety on when you read that thread, because it doesn't sound like you have ever handled a gun before, much-less gotten any safety/proficiency training with them.
