Could people give me a wish list of features they would want if they could develop their own trading platform.

You could include information about what platform you are using and how you do it using that platform. You could also discuss how you can't do what you want with the platform your using. One example would be portfolio analysis if you use TradeStation , unless you also own Rina products.

If you chose "Other", just post what you use in this thread.

Baron,

TS4 is very rarely used by anyone. It lakes many features
even compare to TS2000i

You can replace it with Metatrader 4, Investor/RT,
CQG/net.

Are you talking about "average" or "ultimate-wet-dream-out-of-reality" trading platform?
Because my wish list is quite long...

Started out with wealth-lab, moved to tradestation 8.1 and now with SmartQuant QuantDeveloper. Still using wealth-lab for quick and dirty prototypes. But i am using QuantDeveloper as my main platform, and trading. Quantdeveloper is so flexible it is like practically writing your own =)
