If they did not, then by now bright heads from ivy leagues with top grade wall street experience....................would create algorithms that would send trading into auto pilot for time to come.
markets change constantly and that is why systems perform well for few years and then go into the cycle of lows and high and some even go bust.

Quote from BSAM:
Hmmm....
"Systems" huh?
Your language is "systems".
My language is "price action".
See any difference?
Price action (basically) never changes except that the gains vary from bigger to smaller, or smaller to bigger.
Markets do the same things over and over and over...![]()

With regard to â buying / selling / standing pat â mkt has not..., and does not change
With regard to â up / down / sideways / when / how long / how much / how violently â mkt evolves
Been that way since day 1
Either evolve with itâ¦, or be left behind

I thought it might be interesting if fellow ET members describe the ideas and realizations that have allowed them to bring their trading to the next level.
I look forward to hearing about your trading breakthroughs.
I'll start off:
Trading multiple units was a HUGE breakthrough for me.
Being able to take partial profits along the way increased the overall profitability of my trading tremendously, and boosted my trading psychology by having a larger number of small wins and fewer scratched trades.
