I am more like a free thinker, I respect all religions !!! Human life is so short and fragile, we need some special kind of mystic/spiritual super power that's much bigger/higher and stronger than us to lean on to help us feel more secure about life and after-life. Especially when bad things happen to good hearted people, when we don't have the answers but gotta just believe/have faith in God or some kind of religion beliefs to help us to find an answer or to get thru that hard time.
It's interesting that you had read LaoTsu ~ Tao Te Ching ..Not many Americans are interested to read anything about the Chinese history/culture and books lol
I am an avid traveller and I have visited Jesus's tomb in Jerusalem, Israel and many historical sites of different religions.I am going to visit Mogao Cave, Dunhuang next year

I believe there's God but I am still seaching for him and I don't find him in the Church or Temples. Maybe God is inside of our hearts already and we just need to feel his pressence and his love ??? That's a song called "Jesus loves me" but i still don't feel his love for me yet. Oh maybe i gotta love him first lol ...
