I really loved the concept artwork, and reading the narrative. Unfortunately I could only grasp part of this without google translator, because my French is actually worse than my German. And there is no english edition of this book that I could find. Maybe around the Christmas holidays I will re-read this one over in the German version to fill in what I didn't grasp the first time around.

Damn! I always hate listening to play skits, unless it's something like Dr. Who maybe. But this one was worth it. In fact, I listened to it twice in the same day. About two hours worth that isn't a total waste of your time. Good entertainment and educational.

The day after I purchased this book, I saw my library had the audiobook edition. Doh! In any case, it started out ok, talking about deals with Suncor, Buffett, etc. But as the book continued on, it just got more and more fluff and boring.

Interesting.. sort of. I kept seeing these really hokey videos on Youtube of some analyst Whitney Tilson on youtube all the time. I guess he co-authored the book, but to be honest all this book is.... is a bunch of phrases by famous value investors. I guess that's ok.
The Cartoon Introduction to Climate Change

Ugh... I originally wasn't going to bother with this stuff, but in an effort to re-look into the hype I thought I'd check into what some of the ESG fanatics were reading. A lot of this stuff was ok and useful, but (as expected) the author mentions nothing much regarding all the harm that so-called clean-energy causes such as the wasteful batteries, and all the other harm mining for lithium does, etc.

This may be laughable, but I thought I'd give it a look this weekend (finished just now). There is a bit of useful history in here, and problems on where we are going that can lead to a few future investments that may have some promise.
And... just finished another book this weekend too. This one I picked up at a thrift store just yesterday:
Published in 1996. I read it back then and wasn't impressed with the secrets. I imagine that since they became CRA the secrets are a little out of date.
Gonick did a genetics book that was outstanding.
...I see that he's got one on statistics...
