What are the odds Sryia turns into a regional conflict?

What troubles me most about this is that this could easily escalate into a world war, both china and russia are telling us to back off, syria already says they will bomb the shit out of israel if we hit them, we are guaranteed to retaliate against anyone who hits israel, so look how quickly this could turn into WW III

Obama will soon prove he is not just the most incompetent president in history but also the most INCOMPETENT HUMAN BEING in history if he decides to bomb the shit out of syria without U.N. and congressional approval.

Especially since it would be a move to support Al Quaeda and various other muslim factions who want to kill us.

Yeah our justification is that we want to save those angels in alquaeda, note how the obama and team leaked the fact that they intercepted a call where higher ups in syria gave people shit for the chemical weapons attack...... honestly i wouldnt be surprised if some muslim extremists within the assad regime sold the chemical weapons to alquaeda without assad's knowledge so they could gass their own people to draw the u.s. in, it doesnt make sense that assad would just dip his toes in the water with chemical weapons, hed either go ful out or nothing.

Assad has already massacred 100k people why would he intentionally provoke the u.s. and the entire western world by gassing a couple hundred?

You're right. It doesn't make sense. I'm not even sure he's killed 100k people. Those numbers are waived around by the hawks. How credible are they?

Oh, and this just in, i just found this on drudge, Cameron just backled down so now it will officially be the U.S. and Israel all alone if obama is dumb enough to strike.

They are all fucking crazy, thats what i find funny, guys like hoofhearted are totally unwilling to say that it is illegal for obama to go to war without congress, and the funny thing is the dipshit war mongerers in congress would have approved the war unilaterally.

There is basically no such thing as an anti war party in the states, it only depends whose in power, the same people who attacked bush for iraq are now out there saying that obama can go to war whenever he wants, and that these chemical weapons are different.
