What are the most important things for Technical Analysis?

Balls. The most important things in TA is having balls to act on your indicators. Otherwise the best prediction is still worthless if you don't act on it...

I finally went all Bill Williams and looked for fractals and used candlesticks.

Barchart Screener
My Sweet Spot:
20-50 DAY MACD SIGNAL
Buy
50-100 DAY MACD SIGNAL
Sell
20 DAY MA SIGNAL
Buy
10-8 DAY MA HILO SIGNAL
Buy

General trading system rules:

If you can buy and sell ETFs well, there’s no need to trade anything else.

Don’t ever trade volatility and hardly ever trade bonds.

Make every purchase less than one percent of your portfolio.

Buy funds off of the My Sweet Spot list only, particularly a fund which will soon go above the 50,100 zero line.

Buy when the fractals are bullish, particularly when the Awesome Oscillator is going up through the histogram.

Never buy more of a fund you’re showing an overall loss in.

Sell when the fractals are bearish or sooner if you’re nervous.

Unless you point out what you trying to show, all the chars are useless. Most of us understand correct terms of TA, so when you use teeth etc, makes it tougher to review anything you post.

Also 1-year daily, 2-year weekly and 5-day intraday versions

A fund should generally be sold when it is below the 20-day moving average and the Awesome Oscillator has negative divergence and it is breaking below the 10-day Donchian Channel.

The 9-day MACD level is more or less twice as much as the Awesome Oscillator divergence and about the same as the 3-10 Oscillator level. I sell when it's negative or sooner.

I figure if a fund should be sold at a negative number, a fund with a high number should be bought so it doesn't get sold so soon.
