What are the most common used oscillators and their settings for day trading?

Hi,

For day trading, what are the most popular oscillators used and what are their settings?

Also, what about moving averages, simple or exponential and how many days?

there's no one answer that fits everything.

most people will tell you to find a setting that works well with the instrument/time frame you're trading.

Other people will say "indicators are worthless; learn price action."

Sounds like you might want a reference book on T/A. A reasonably inexpensive one is "Technical Analysis from A-Z" by Steve B. Achelis. It is not an in depth examination of every indicator but gives you a good general view of each indicator and how it can be used.
