Well, stricter gun laws aren't going to help because those laws will only affect law abiding citizens who purchases firearms legally. These criminals that are shooting each other dead in the street aren't walking into gun stores and buying guns. There's a whole black market for untraceable guns.Quote from toc:
The current US policies on welfare are outright spoiling and leaving little incentive to get off and go to work. It should be maximum 3 months of welfare, in return government provides baby sitting costs/facilities for the parent(s) to go to work.
Up until recently, the approach to crimes like selling drugs was impractical. Now in some cities, they are targeting not the "less than minimum wage earning" street dealers but the wholesalers. Nab one wholesaler and put 10 dealers out of the streets.
Stricter gun laws might also help.
Regarding the blame game..........that's cowardly. The word Honor need not be mentioned for those who blame others for everything.
As for your stance on welfare, I agree. Welfare, ideally, should be a safety net for those that have worked and landed on hard times...when they get back on their feet, it should be the next person's turn. Instead, liberal policies have made welfare a career move.
