Well that is kind of an opinion piece but to be clear.. both Dems and GOP have taken the same stance more or less on Cuba simply to woo voters. Older Cubans who cmae here in the 1970s and 1980s want an embargo and no relations and tend to vote GOP because they made money and now want no more Cubans to get what they got. Younger Cubans born here are voting more Dem and want more open relations with change to the government and it is a split in the community.
Cuba is not really making a dent in any of the two parties because it is not an election year and does not help either in what is important to them so this will fade away.
