What are the common fee structures for trading companies or retail traders?

Hi, I'm new here. I did a search on 'fees' but didn't seem to find a similar question. I understand it might still have been asked by others, please don't get mad if that's the case.

Do prop trading companies pay broker fees? Or only the exchange fees? How much do they pay in a typical case?

What about individual traders?

From my brief search the best broker fee I found was TradeStation, which charges $0.002 a share. Which amounts to a lot of my principle.

For the day traders out here, how much fee do you have to pay everyday, in a percentage of your capital?

How could you find a 0.002ct/sh commission from TS?

If you trade over 5M shares per month. ( Note I said $0.002, not 0.002 cents. )

Unless you think there is something more to it, hidden fees or something.
