Do not think anything is going to happen. Russia will continue to rock the boat. And Biden wants to dance together. Market will be whipsawed again and again. So Putin has the upper hand. West suffers. Market crashed and energy prices skyhigh. Russia and OPEC will be very happy. Bad for US economy and global stock markets.
I'd be happy if Russia & the rest of OPEC try to fuck the Western producers for the second time as in many years. Looking forward to snatching up a few more OIL stonks. Especially with the oil-stocks-are-evil hippie sentiment.
Russia does not spend all that money over years and years of clamoring over Ukraine to then build-up a huge military presence on the Ukraine border only to back down now.

Ukraine isn't about Putin, it's about sphere of influence. The US spent 2 decades promoting/financing democracy in Ukraine in pure cold war fashion and the ouster of their communist leader is proof it worked.

Russia never spent any money on Ukraine, they only stole money from them.

If you know Ms. Victoris Nuland did in Ukraine, you would know why Putin has been so upset. Putin thinks the breakup of former Soviet Union was all CIA's doing. And Ms. Nuland tried to pick the Prime Minister of Ukraine back in 2014. All European countries denounced her move. And yet Hilary Clinton supported Ms. Nuland.

Clearly I do not. And clearly you do not understand the psychology of latent despots. He's going to invade, for the sole purpose of spiking oil prices, causing a recession, and crashing my long positions. That is his singular goal.
