What are some books, movies, TV, YouTube, etc that have really made you think??

A tv show that really made me think was Babylon 5. Fantastic sci-fi series written by a true master. The first season is quite campy, but starting from season 2 it goes into surprisingly serious places.

To return to the topic of this thread - two more books "The Greatest Salesman in the World" by Og Mandino and the "Book of Mirdad" by Mikhail Naima. Many Russian poets - Alexandr Pushkin, Serguei Essenin, Ossip Mandelshtam, Marina Zvetaeva, Anna Ahmatova, just to name few. And Rumi and Rubaiyat by Omar Khayyam are always on my hand. The war with UBS, VCredit Suisse and BNP Paribas and our former neighbors is long and ferocious and I took big inspiration from the holocaust books by Simon Wiesenthal and "The Wiesenthal File" by Alan Levi, the books by Eva Schloss and many others written by Holocaust survivors.
You'll like this book.

Two movies I've seen recently!

I can only imagine:
A little boy in 19th century gives me real glimpse about how to face his troubled father.
This line below completely stamp in my heart:
"I've seen how God changed from the man I've hated the most to the man I wanted him to become"

Paul, Apostle of Christ: Got me thinking how big difference Christians are between 1st century (67 AD) and 21st century (today 2018 AD).
  • That time it's hot and cold. This time it's lukewarm.
  • That time Christians support authorities, even when it means to kill/persecute them for preaching. This time Christians are complaining for wrong authorities.
  • That time people need wisdom. This time people need money.
Such vast difference.
