The risk of trading outright vs spread is quite similar.

If you don't know
when to press the buy button first,
when to press the sell button first,
and when not to trade,

trading spread is very risky too!
The best solution is to give up trading.


The major problem with the speculative bubble
is not because traders will lose tons of money
but traders unable to earn tons of money!

When the bubble burst, there will be heavy
volume/traffic. Charts & trading platforms would freeze.
the market movement could be chaotic making trading difficult.

I’d suggest you to not give advice on matters you clearly have no knowledge in. Saying that the risk profile of a spread is similar to delta 1 is just utter nonsense.

okay makes much more sense when you weren't using "spread" to refer to a defined risk trade in options.

When did you buy these? Isn't the short leg DITM now?

It was on Thursday evening (Uk time), order in during halt. AMC it's still at 13$, my short front month leg is at 3$.
I also had an expensive put on game at 40$, sold it for 10% gain on game spike up fearing IV collapse before the stock.
