What are good futures products for day trading?

Crude CL used to be a great instrument to trade but in the last two months or so it has completely dried up, I'm not kidding, I bet even the regular Crude traders on here are not trading it right now. Hopefully it will pick up soon.

I've been trading the TF, Russell 2000 lately, decent moves in the first two hours, you can make your daily quota, if you have one trading the TF.
 
You can pick up doing exchange listed spreads if you are just beginning, much easier to make money in, less hft's, mostly mean reverting.
Flip side is, you'd need less rountrip costs, since multiple legs are involved.

I believe NoDoji is still killing it in CL.

might mention another trader MtnMan on TST chat. really good trades(only thing is he didnt trade a good size, but still that doesnt really matter so much i guess)
