arrogance and incompetence are just a really bad combo. he came into the presidency almost by happenstance, and ended up being disproportionately consequential to the path of the country, arguably as a result of his incompetence (or worse)
it's just kind of absurd. easy enough to understand why so many ppl feel very WTF about him and his admin
