what about the Earn2trade?

Hi to all !

I started an evaluation account with earn2trade.The account is at 50,300 and the time is 14:20 Chicago time,I have just closed 4 micros and I get a message that I have violated the time!!!!!!
I contact the support and they tell me that I sent orders out of time and that I sent more orders.
of course, the rule says 2 contracts and does NOT specify about the micros.
After that, the account was closed. It is an unacceptable treatment, completely unprofessional

Hello palaki06,

If you received a message stating you failed by Approved Times it means you didn't close your positions and orders before 3:10 PM CT until 5:00 PM CT. Keep in mind some countries in Europe already changed to standard time (-1 hour) on October 30th while in America this is done on November 6th.

This is not related to the number of contracts you had open, 4 micros are well within the Progression Ladder rule.

I thought the name looked familiar. I thought I've seen it somewhere. The company is a scam. It was charged with fraud by the CFTC 2 years ago. https://www.tradingschools.org/ryan-masten-of-earn2trade-has-been-charged-with-fraud/

Hello TheDawn,

These allegations are against the former fractional shareholder of Earn2Trade and not Earn2Trade itself. Earn2Trade was never accused of anything and never brought up in the charges. The case has been running for over two years, and Earn2Trade has never been implicated or charged in anything pertaining to the alleged misdeeds. The charges stem only from a period of time before the company existed.

We addressed these allegations as soon as they happened, put out a statement on our website, mailed our users, and continue to regularly address it on the site where the article is posted.

I would like to suggest you implement some sort of automatic liquidation shortly before the restricted time because if there was some sort of power outage then the trader would lose the account. It is unconfirmed but Apex funding does that.

Wont happen, that way they can't charge the failed traders for a new evaluation account .

Hello s trader,

We understand there might be situations where a trader is not capable of closing his own positions or orders by 3:10 PM CT, that is why we encourage using pre-set stop losses and limit orders, as well as having a second-way to connect to their platform or a different one.

Our customer support is also available from 1 AM to 5 PM CT to help out with any inconvenience traders may have at market close.

The OP is from Stockholm. I expect they lost track of the 1 hour drift this week between Europe and the US and in fact traded at 3:10pm CT rather than 2:10pm CT just as in @Sekiyo's post.

Of course, they can demonstrate that this assumption is wrong by providing a screen grab from their Rithmic R-Trader showing the timestamps of the relevant trades.

@TheDawn - what you're posting is old old news. Ryan Masten has not been involved with Earn2Trade for a long time and tradingschools.org is well known to be very questionable.

Thank you for helping us explain this situation.

You should trade Index cfds with FTMO or MyForexFunds who have much better rules if you are looking for such prop firms. I also created an excel sheets in thread evaluating prop firms here.

Hey, can you pls pinpoint to this excel sheet with a link, please?

FTMO offers swing trade accounts (with up to $10k max daily loss limit and up to $20k max total loss limit) with no rules about when you can execute a trade (i.e. dont have to be flat at end of session, can hold over positions, can also execute trades during news (no rule about not opening/closing/trading--so many minutes before/after flagged major news events)
